Office Wi-Fi that reaches every desk
We plan, install and support business Wi-Fi and networks, on site across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.
In plain English.
Slow or patchy Wi-Fi costs more than it seems. Video calls drop, card machines lose their connection and staff end up working from the one corner with a signal. Often the cause is a single internet provider router trying to cover a building it was never designed for.
We start by walking the site with a Wi-Fi analyser to find dead spots and interference. Then we recommend the right kit, usually business access points from ranges such as Ubiquiti UniFi or TP-Link Omada, placed and powered over network cable rather than relying on plug-in boosters.
Good networks are also safer networks. We put guests, staff devices and things like CCTV or smart TVs on separate networks, called VLANs, so a visitor's phone cannot see your files. We work on site across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire, and remotely anywhere in the UK.
It suits you if.
- Wi-Fi drops out in parts of your office, shop or workshop
- Video calls freeze even though your broadband is fast
- Customers and staff share the same Wi-Fi password
- Card machines or tills lose their connection
- You are moving premises and want it right first time
What we do.
Site survey
We measure signal strength and interference room by room, so access points go where they are needed.
Business access points
Ceiling or wall-mounted access points with central management replace consumer boosters and extenders.
Separate guest and device networks
Guest Wi-Fi, staff devices and equipment such as cameras or tills each get their own network, kept apart from each other.
Router and firewall setup
Default passwords changed, remote admin locked down and firmware updated, so the front door to your network is secure.
Cabling and switches
We arrange structured cabling for access points and desks, and set up network switches that are labelled and documented.
How it runs.
- 01
Free 15-minute call
Tell us about your premises, the number of people and devices, and where the problems are.
- 02
On-site survey
We visit, measure coverage and check your broadband and router, then send a written plan and price.
- 03
Install
Equipment is fitted and configured, usually outside busy hours, and tested in every area you use.
- 04
Support
We can monitor the network remotely and handle changes, such as new devices or a Wi-Fi password rotation.
Questions people ask.
How much does business Wi-Fi cost?
It depends on the size and layout of the building and how many access points it needs. After the survey you get a fixed quote for labour. Equipment and any cabling contractor are passed through at cost, so you can see exactly what you are paying for.
Can you just boost my existing router?
Sometimes a better position or setting is enough, and we will try that first. For anything bigger than a small office, though, proper access points give far more reliable coverage than plug-in boosters.
Will you need to run new cables?
Not always. Some access points can use mesh links back to the main one. Cable is more reliable, so where it is practical we recommend it, and we arrange it with as little disruption as possible.
Do you work outside Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire?
On-site installs are across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. Elsewhere in the UK we can plan the network, configure the kit remotely and work alongside a local installer you choose, who handles the cabling and fitting.
