Technical SEO: where you are, the work, and where it gets you.

In plain English.

You can write the best page in your industry and still not rank if Google cannot crawl it, decides it is a duplicate, or finds it behind three redirects. Technical SEO deals with that layer: how your site is built, how pages link together and what signals the code sends to search engines.

We crawl your site with Screaming Frog, compare the results with the Page indexing report in Search Console, and look at your sitemaps, robots.txt, canonical tags, redirects, structured data and page speed. Every issue goes on a list with an explanation of why it matters and how much.

Then we fix it, or hand clear instructions to your developer. Many problems come from the CMS or theme, so we fix the template once instead of patching pages one by one. You get a short note on what changed and a follow-up crawl to prove it.

It suits you if.

  • Search Console shows pages that are not indexed and you do not know why
  • Your site has grown over years and nobody has checked its structure
  • You have recently changed theme, platform or domain
  • Rankings fell and content does not seem to be the reason
  • You have a developer but need someone to tell them what to fix

What we do.

Full site crawl

Every URL checked for status codes, titles, canonicals, internal links, click depth and duplicate content.

Indexing diagnosis

Search Console exclusion reasons investigated and explained page by page, with sample URLs checked by hand.

Redirect and canonical clean-up

Chains, loops and conflicting canonical tags fixed so each piece of content has one clear URL.

Sitemaps and robots.txt

XML sitemaps that list only pages you want indexed, and a robots.txt that blocks nothing important.

Template-level fixes

Changes made in the theme or CMS so they apply site-wide and survive future updates.

Speed and Core Web Vitals

The main loading and layout problems flagged, with deeper speed work available as its own project.

How it runs.

  1. 01

    Crawl and compare

We crawl the site and set the results against what Google reports in Search Console.

  2. 02

    Rank the issues

Problems are sorted by how many pages they touch and how much they affect search.

  3. 03

    Fix at the source

Changes go into templates, plugins or server rules wherever possible, tested on staging first.

  4. 04

    Re-crawl and confirm

A second crawl and a check in Search Console show the fixes have taken.

Questions people ask.

Can you work on any platform?

Most of our work is on WordPress, WooCommerce and Shopify, and we also handle Laravel, custom PHP sites, Webflow and others. Some hosted platforms limit what can be changed, and we will tell you up front if a fix is not possible on yours.

Do I need technical SEO if my site is new?

A new site built properly should need little. A check before launch is still worth it, because a leftover noindex tag or a blocked folder in robots.txt can keep a whole site out of Google. That check is quick and inexpensive.

Will you change things on my live site?

Only with your agreement and, where possible, after testing on a staging copy. Every change is logged, and we take a backup first, so anything can be rolled back quickly if it causes a problem.

What does a technical SEO project cost?

Usually a fixed project price covering the audit and the fixes, based on the size and platform of the site. Ongoing monitoring can be added for a monthly fee. You get the quote in writing after the free call.
