SEO: where you are, the work, and where it gets you.

In plain English.

Search engine optimisation is the work of helping Google understand your site and trust it enough to show it when people search. For most small businesses that means a handful of things done well: clear pages for each service, a site that loads quickly and works on a phone, and a Google Business Profile that matches your website.

We start by looking at what is already happening. Search Console shows the searches you appear for today and how often people click. From there we pick the pages most likely to bring in work, improve them, and add the ones that are missing. You get a short monthly note explaining what changed and why.

Nobody can promise a position on Google, and we will not. What we can do is remove the obvious blockers, write pages that answer real questions, and measure whether enquiries go up. If something is not working after a fair trial, we say so and change course.

It suits you if.

  • You get most of your work from referrals and want a second source
  • Your site exists but hardly anyone finds it through Google
  • You have paid for SEO before and never understood what was done
  • You want someone to explain the numbers in plain words
  • You are a sole trader or small team with a modest budget

What we do.

Search Console first

We connect Google Search Console and GA4 before touching anything, so every change is measured against a real starting point.

Pages built around services

Each thing you sell gets a page that says what it is, who it is for and how to get in touch.

Technical housekeeping

Broken links, missing titles, slow images and pages Google cannot index are found and fixed as part of the work.

Local signals

Your address, phone number and opening hours are kept consistent across your site, Google Business Profile and the main directories.

Plain monthly reporting

A short written update covering clicks, enquiries and the work done, with next month's priorities.

How it runs.

  1. 01

    Free call

You tell Garreth what you sell, where, and which jobs you want more of. We look at your site while we talk.

  2. 02

    Baseline and plan

We record where you stand today in Search Console and agree a short list of priorities and a monthly fee.

  3. 03

    Fix and build

Technical fixes go first, then service pages are improved or written, one batch at a time.

  4. 04

    Measure and adjust

Each month we compare clicks and enquiries against the baseline and move effort to whatever is working.

Questions people ask.

How much does SEO cost?

We agree a fixed monthly fee after the free call, based on how many services and areas you want to cover. The fee and any notice period are set out in writing before you commit, so you know exactly where you stand from the first month.

How long before I see results?

Technical fixes can show in Search Console within a few weeks once Google recrawls the pages. New pages usually take longer to settle, often a few months, depending on how competitive your searches are. We show you the trend each month so you are never guessing.

What do you need from me?

Access to your website, Search Console and Google Business Profile, or help setting them up if you do not have them. We also need half an hour of your time to understand which jobs are worth most to you and which areas you cover.

What happens if I stop?

Everything we write and build stays on your website and belongs to you. Search Console and analytics stay in your name. You can carry on yourself with the notes we leave, or hand over to someone else with no loose ends.
