A dedicated server with someone looking after it

We arrange and manage physical servers for workloads that have outgrown virtual ones.

Dedicated Servers: where you are, the work, and where it gets you.

In plain English.

A dedicated server is a physical machine used only by you. Nothing else shares its processors, memory or disks, which matters for large databases, busy online shops, media processing and software with licensing tied to physical hardware. It also brings more responsibility, because there is no host quietly fixing things underneath.

We arrange dedicated servers through trusted hosting providers and manage them end to end. That covers choosing a sensible specification for your workload, RAID (which keeps your data on more than one disk), out-of-band access for remote recovery, operating system hardening and monitoring of disk health, load and services.

Most businesses do not need a dedicated server, and we will say so if a VPS or cloud setup would do the job for less. Where one is the right answer, we quote it after a free call, with the hardware rental and our management shown separately.

It suits you if.

  • Your database or app has outgrown a VPS
  • You need predictable performance for heavy processing
  • Software licensing or compliance requires a physical server
  • You want to consolidate several servers onto one machine

What we do.

Hardware matched to the work

We match processor, memory and storage to your workload, using your current server's usage figures rather than guesswork.

Disk redundancy

RAID and disk health monitoring mean a failing drive can be swapped before it takes data with it.

Remote recovery

Out-of-band management such as IPMI lets us reach the server even when the operating system will not boot.

Virtualisation option

One dedicated server can run Proxmox, splitting it into several virtual machines you control.

Full management

Patching, backups, firewall rules and monitoring are handled by us, with every change logged.

How it runs.

  1. 01

    Workload review

We look at your current usage and growth to decide whether a dedicated server is the right step.

  2. 02

    Specify and order

We agree the specification, provider and costs with you, then arrange the server.

  3. 03

    Build and migrate

The server is hardened, configured and tested, then your workloads are moved across with a rollback plan.

  4. 04

    Run it

We manage the server day to day and plan hardware refreshes when the time comes.

Questions people ask.

Do I really need a dedicated server?

Probably not, unless you run large databases, heavy processing or software that must sit on physical hardware. Many businesses that ask for one are better served by a well-tuned VPS or cloud setup. We look at your real usage before recommending anything.

How much does a dedicated server cost?

It depends on the hardware and the provider. We quote after a free call, showing the server rental and our management fee as separate lines, and agree both with you before anything is ordered.

What happens if a disk fails?

With RAID, the server keeps running on the remaining disks. Disk health monitoring alerts us, and we arrange a replacement with the provider and rebuild the array. Backups stored elsewhere cover anything worse than a single failed drive.

Can I move to a dedicated server later?

Yes. Many businesses start on a VPS and move up when their usage justifies it. Because we manage both, the move is planned and tested like any other migration, with a rollback option.
