Cloud hosting set up with costs you can predict

We build and manage hosting on AWS, Azure and Google Cloud, sized to what you actually use.

Cloud Hosting: where you are, the work, and where it gets you.

In plain English.

Cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud let you add servers, databases and storage in minutes and pay for what you use. They also make it very easy to leave something running that nobody needs, or to build a setup only one person understands.

We design cloud hosting that is as simple as the job allows. That might be a single managed database and a couple of app servers, or autoscaling groups, object storage and a load balancer for a busy service. Where it makes sense, the whole setup is written as code with Terraform, so it can be reviewed and rebuilt.

We set budget alerts, tag resources by project and check the bill each month for waste. Cloud charges are billed by the provider to your own account, and our setup and management are quoted after a free call and agreed before we start.

It suits you if.

  • You already use AWS, Azure or Google Cloud and the bill keeps creeping up
  • Your traffic varies a lot through the day or year
  • A customer or partner needs you to host on a named cloud platform
  • Your cloud setup was built by someone who has since left
  • You want infrastructure that can be rebuilt from code

What we do.

Simple architecture

We use the fewest services that do the job, which keeps costs lower and makes problems easier to trace.

Infrastructure as code

Terraform or the platform's own templates describe the setup, so changes are reviewed and the environment can be rebuilt.

Cost control

Budget alerts, resource tagging and monthly reviews catch idle servers, oversized databases and forgotten snapshots.

Autoscaling where useful

Services that see big swings in load can add and remove capacity automatically, within limits you agree.

Security basics done

Least-privilege IAM roles (the cloud's permissions system), multi-factor sign-in and private networks for databases are part of every build.

How it runs.

  1. 01

    Talk it through

On a free call we cover what you run, why the cloud is on the table and what you spend now.

  2. 02

    Design

We propose an architecture and an estimated monthly cloud cost before building anything.

  3. 03

    Build and move

The environment is built as code and tested, then your services are migrated in planned steps.

  4. 04

    Manage and trim

We patch, monitor and review the bill monthly, trimming anything you pay for but do not use.

Questions people ask.

Is cloud hosting cheaper than a normal server?

Not always. For steady workloads, a VPS or dedicated server is often cheaper. The cloud makes sense when your load swings a lot, when you need managed services such as databases and queues, or when a customer requires it. We compare the options honestly before you commit.

Who pays the cloud provider?

Usually you do, through your own AWS, Azure or Google Cloud account, so you own the resources and see every charge. Our setup and management are billed separately, with the fee agreed up front.

Can you take over a cloud setup someone else built?

Yes. We start with an audit of what is running, what it costs and who has access. Then we tidy it up, document it and bring it under code so it is easier to manage from then on.

How long does a cloud migration take?

A simple website can move in a few days. A larger application with several services usually takes a few weeks of planning, testing and staged moves. We give you a timeline alongside the quote, so you can plan around it.
