Dealer websites that keep your stock up to date

Your used car stock, prices and photos flow in from the systems you already use, so the website is never a day behind the forecourt.

Car Dealer Websites: where you are, the work, and where it gets you.

In plain English.

Most independent dealers already keep their stock in Auto Trader, a dealer management system (DMS) or both. Typing every car in again on the website is slow and leads to sold cars still showing as available. We build dealer websites that take stock from the source you already maintain, so a new arrival or a price change shows up on your site without extra admin.

Each car gets its own page with a full photo gallery, key specs, MOT status and a clear next step: a reservation deposit, a test drive request or a finance quote. Pages carry Car schema so search engines can read the price, mileage and fuel type, and sold cars are handled properly instead of turning into dead links.

Finance is handled with care. If you are authorised by the FCA for credit broking, we can add a calculator from your finance provider with the representative example shown the way the rules expect. Your FCA permissions and lender agreements stay yours, and we build the page around them.

It suits you if.

  • You sell used cars and your website stock is often out of date
  • You list on Auto Trader and want your own site to match it
  • You want buyers to reserve a car online with a deposit
  • You offer finance and need a calculator on every car page
  • You take part exchanges and want better details before the call

What we do.

Stock from Auto Trader or your DMS

We connect to Auto Trader Connect or your DMS export where your account allows it, and update the site on a schedule you choose. Price drops, new photos and sold markers carry across.

Vehicle detail pages

Large galleries, key specs, service history notes, MOT expiry and a short dealer comment, laid out so the important facts sit near the top on a phone.

Finance quotes per car

A calculator from your lender or finance platform, prefilled with the price of the car, showing monthly payments and the representative example.

Reservations and deposits

Buyers can hold a car with a refundable deposit taken through Stripe or your preferred gateway, and you get an email the moment it happens.

Part-exchange capture

A form that takes the registration and mileage, looks up the car and asks a few condition questions, so your first call starts with the facts.

Sold cars handled properly

Sold vehicles show as sold for a period you set, then redirect to similar stock, so search traffic and shared links never land on an error page.

How it runs.

  1. 01

    Stock check

We look at where your stock lives today, which feed or API your account offers and what Auto Trader or your DMS vendor needs from you to switch it on.

  2. 02

    Prototype with real cars

You get a working prototype showing your own stock, so you can judge search, filters and car pages before paying a deposit.

  3. 03

    Integrations

We connect stock, finance and reservations, test them with live cars and check that sold vehicles drop off as they should.

  4. 04

    Go live

We launch, watch the first stock updates closely and show your team how to handle anything that needs a manual touch.

Questions people ask.

Can you pull stock from Auto Trader?

Usually, yes. Auto Trader controls access to its API, called Auto Trader Connect, on your dealer account, and some features depend on your package. We help you request access and then build the import. If your DMS already sends a stock feed, we can use that instead.

How much does a dealer website cost?

Bespoke websites start from £995. A dealer site with a stock feed, finance calculator and reservations is quoted as a fixed price once we know which systems are involved. Any Auto Trader, DMS or finance provider fees are paid by you to them directly.

How long does it take?

It depends mostly on how quickly stock feed access is approved by Auto Trader or your DMS vendor. We set a timeline with you after the first call, based on the systems involved, and tell you straight away if a supplier holds things up.

Will the finance calculator be compliant?

We build it to show the information your lender and the FCA rules expect, including the representative example, but responsibility for compliance sits with you as the authorised firm. We are happy to work from wording your compliance adviser or lender has approved.
