Automotive Software and Integrations: where you are, the work, and where it gets you.

In plain English.

Most motor trade businesses run on several systems that do not talk to each other. Stock sits in a DMS, adverts live on Auto Trader, parts sell on eBay and the website, finance runs through a lender portal, and someone spends hours each week copying data between them. Integrations remove that copying and the mistakes that come with it.

We build connections to Auto Trader Connect, eBay's selling APIs, dealer management systems such as Keyloop and Pinewood where the vendor provides access, accounting tools like Xero, and finance platforms that offer an API or an embeddable calculator. Where an off-the-shelf tool almost fits, we write the missing piece instead of replacing everything.

We also build apps for the jobs your current software does not cover: workshop job cards on a tablet, vehicle check-in with photos, parts picking lists, or a portal where customers follow the progress of their car. App development starts from £750, and integrations are quoted once we know which systems are involved.

It suits you if.

  • Your team retypes stock, orders or customer details between systems
  • You list cars on Auto Trader and want the data used elsewhere
  • You sell parts on eBay and your website and stock gets out of step
  • You have a workshop process still run on paper
  • Your DMS or parts system has an API nobody is using

What we do.

Auto Trader integrations

Pull your stock and adverts into your website or internal tools through Auto Trader Connect, once Auto Trader has enabled API access on your account.

DMS connections

Read stock, customer or job data from your dealer management system through its API or a scheduled export, depending on what the vendor allows.

eBay listings and orders

List parts with K-Type compatibility, sync stock with your website and bring eBay orders into one place for picking and dispatch.

Finance and payments

Embed lender calculators, pass finance applications to your provider and take deposits through Stripe or another gateway.

Workshop and staff apps

Tablet and phone apps for job cards, vehicle health checks with photos and parts requests from the workshop floor.

Monitoring and alerts

Every integration logs what it did and alerts us when a sync fails, so problems are caught before they reach customers.

How it runs.

  1. 01

    Map the systems

We list what you use, what each system can export or expose through an API, and which licences or approvals you need.

  2. 02

    Prove the link

We build a working prototype of the most important connection with real data, so you see it work before paying a deposit.

  3. 03

    Build out

We add the remaining integrations and apps, test them against real stock and orders and train your team.

  4. 04

    Run and support

We monitor syncs, handle API changes from suppliers and add features as your business changes.

Questions people ask.

Can you connect to any DMS?

Only where the vendor allows it. Some dealer management systems offer an open API, some charge for access and some only provide a scheduled file export. We check what your system offers and what it costs before quoting, so there are no surprises later.

Who pays for API access?

You do, directly to the supplier. Auto Trader, DMS vendors, eBay and finance providers set their own terms, and some charge for API use. Access is granted to your business account, which also means you keep it if you ever move to another developer.

How much does this cost?

App development starts from £750. Integrations are priced per project and agreed before work starts, once we know the systems and how much data moves between them. Ongoing support is optional, and its monthly fee is fixed up front.

What if a supplier changes its API?

It happens, especially with marketplaces. If you have a support plan we track announced changes and update the integration before the old version is switched off. Without a plan, we quote for the update when it is needed.
