Product descriptions written from the real specs
We write product copy that tells buyers what they need to know, in your voice, for your shop, marketplaces and feeds.
In plain English.
Many shops use the manufacturer's description word for word, which means the same text appears on dozens of other sites. Others have a single line per product, or nothing at all. Neither helps a buyer decide, and neither gives Google much reason to rank your page above a competitor selling the same item.
We write from the actual specifications, supplier data and your team's knowledge. Each description covers what the product is, who it suits, the specs that matter, sizing or compatibility, and what comes in the box. We write in UK English to your tone of voice, use the terms buyers really search for, and format it for your shop, Amazon bullet points or eBay listings.
For large catalogues we use AI to produce first drafts from your structured product data. A person then checks every description against the source specs before it is published, and anything we cannot confirm is flagged to you instead of being guessed.
It suits you if.
- Your product pages use the manufacturer's text
- Descriptions are missing, short or inconsistent
- Customers ask questions the description should answer
- You are launching a new range or a new shop
- You need copy formatted for Amazon or eBay as well
What we do.
Written from source data
We work from spec sheets, supplier files and your notes, and check every claim against them.
Your tone of voice
A short style guide agreed first, so hundreds of descriptions read as one brand.
Search terms used naturally
Keyword research shows how buyers describe each product, and those words go into headings and copy where they fit.
Formatted per channel
Website descriptions, Amazon bullet points, eBay HTML and feed-length titles, all from the same research.
AI drafts, human checks
Large catalogues drafted with AI from structured data, then reviewed line by line by a person.
How it runs.
- 01
Talk about the range
On a free call we talk about your range, your customers and how many products need writing.
- 02
Sample batch
We write a handful of descriptions first so you can adjust tone and structure before the rest.
- 03
Write and check
The full batch is written and every description is checked against the product data.
- 04
Import and review
We import the copy into your shop or hand over a CSV, and fix anything you spot.
Questions people ask.
How much does product description writing cost?
It depends on how many products you have, how technical they are and whether we need to research specs ourselves. We quote a fixed price for the batch after a free call and a look at your data, agreed before writing starts.
Do you use AI to write them?
For larger catalogues we use AI to produce first drafts from your product data, because it is quicker and costs you less. Every description is then checked and edited by a person. Anything we cannot confirm from the source data is flagged to you rather than invented.
What do you need from me?
Your product data export, any supplier spec sheets, a few examples of copy you like and someone who knows the products for questions. If your data has gaps, we list them so you can fill them before we write those products.
Who owns the copy?
You do. Once paid for, the descriptions are yours to use on your website, marketplaces, printed catalogues and anywhere else you like. We do not reuse your copy for other clients or publish it anywhere ourselves.
