Mobile apps for iPhone and Android, built once
One codebase for both phones, published to the App Store and Google Play under your own name.
In plain English.
A mobile app makes sense when people need something on their phone that a website cannot do well: working offline on a site with no signal, scanning barcodes, taking photos for a job report, or getting push notifications. If a website would do the job, we will tell you so on the first call.
We build with React Native or Flutter, which produce real iPhone and Android apps from one shared codebase. That keeps the cost closer to one app than two. The app talks to a secure back end we build, or to systems you already use, and it can be set up for staff only or for the public.
We handle the App Store and Google Play submissions, including screenshots, privacy labels and reviewer questions. The developer accounts are in your company's name, so the listings belong to you. Apple charges a yearly developer fee and Google a one-off fee, which you pay directly.
It suits you if.
- Your staff work out on site and fill in paper forms or send photos by WhatsApp
- Customers would use an app regularly, for bookings, loyalty or ordering
- You need offline use, the camera, barcode scanning or GPS
- You want push notifications for reminders or updates
- You already have a web app and want a phone version
What we do.
One codebase, two platforms
React Native or Flutter builds for iPhone and Android together, so features land on both at the same time.
Works offline
Forms, photos and job data are saved on the phone and sync when signal comes back.
Phone features
Camera, barcode and QR scanning, GPS location, signatures and push notifications where the app needs them.
Secure back end
A Laravel or Node API with proper authentication sits behind the app and keeps your data on UK servers.
Store submission handled
We prepare the listings, privacy details and builds, and answer Apple and Google reviewer questions.
How it runs.
- 01
Free call
We check an app is the right answer, rather than a website or web app, before going any further.
- 02
Prototype on your phone
You install a test version through TestFlight or an Android test link and try the main screens.
- 03
Build and test
After the deposit we build the full app, with regular test releases to you and a small group of users.
- 04
Publish and maintain
We submit to both stores, handle review feedback and keep the app updated as iOS and Android change.
Questions people ask.
How much does a mobile app cost?
App development starts from £750 for a simple app. Most apps with logins, a back end and offline features cost more. We give you a fixed price after the free call and the prototype stage. Apple's developer programme fee and Google Play's registration fee are paid by you directly.
How long does it take to get into the App Store?
A focused first version usually takes weeks rather than months to build. Apple's review normally takes a day or two once submitted, though reviewers can ask questions that need answering first. Google Play is usually quicker. We plan the submission into the timeline from the start.
Do I need a separate app for iPhone and Android?
No. We use React Native or Flutter, which builds both from one codebase. You still get two apps, one in each store, but most of the work is shared, which keeps both the build cost and the cost of future updates down.
What happens after launch?
Apple and Google release new phone software every year, and apps need occasional updates to keep working and stay listed. We can look after that on a monthly arrangement agreed up front, along with bug fixes and small improvements. You own the code, so you can take it elsewhere if you prefer.
