Email Deliverability: where you are, the work, and where it gets you.

In plain English.

When quotes, invoices or newsletters land in spam, customers simply do not see them. Since 2024, Gmail and Yahoo have required bulk senders to authenticate properly, and Microsoft has tightened Outlook.com in the same direction. Mail that passed a few years ago now gets filtered or rejected.

We start with the evidence. Message headers show whether SPF, DKIM and DMARC passed, and tools like Google Postmaster Tools show how Gmail rates your domain. We also check if your sending server or domain appears on blocklists such as Spamhaus.

Fixes usually involve correcting DNS records, signing mail from every system that sends as you, including your website, CRM and accounting software, and moving DMARC towards p=reject over time. For marketing email, we review list hygiene, unsubscribe handling and complaint rates.

It suits you if.

  • Customers say your emails go to their junk folder
  • Website form notifications never arrive
  • Your newsletter open rates dropped suddenly
  • Invoices from your accounting software are being missed
  • You received a bounce mentioning SPF, DKIM or DMARC

What we do.

Header and authentication checks

We read the headers of real messages to see exactly which checks pass or fail, and at which receiving server.

Every sender accounted for

Your website, CRM, invoicing tool and newsletter platform are each identified and authenticated alongside your main mailbox.

DMARC reporting

DMARC reports are collected and summarised, showing who is sending mail as your domain, including anyone spoofing it.

Blocklist and reputation checks

We check major blocklists and Google Postmaster Tools, then request delisting where it is justified.

Bulk sender rules

For marketing mail we check one-click unsubscribe, spam complaint levels and list quality against the Gmail and Yahoo requirements.

How it runs.

  1. 01

    Free 15-minute call

Tell us what is going missing and which systems send email for you. We agree a fixed price.

  2. 02

    Diagnose

We test-send from each system, read the headers and review your DNS and reputation data.

  3. 03

    Fix

DNS records are corrected, sending services authenticated and website mail moved to a proper sending route.

  4. 04

    Monitor and tighten

We watch DMARC reports for a few weeks, then tighten the policy once every legitimate sender passes.

Questions people ask.

How long before emails stop going to spam?

Authentication fixes take effect as soon as DNS updates, often within hours. Reputation recovers more slowly, especially after a blocklisting, and can take a few weeks of good sending. We keep checking and tell you how it is moving.

What does it cost?

Most small businesses need a one-off fixed-price job, agreed after the free call. If you want ongoing DMARC monitoring, that can be added as a monthly fee agreed up front.

What do you need from me?

Access to your DNS, usually at your domain registrar or Cloudflare, a list of tools that send email for you, and a few examples of messages that went to spam. We can help find the access if you are unsure.

Can you guarantee inbox placement?

No one can, because each mail provider makes its own filtering decisions. What we can do is make sure your mail passes every technical check and that nothing on our side gives filters a reason to distrust it.
