Drupal websites built for structured content
Design, development and upgrades for Drupal 10 and 11, including moves off Drupal 7.
In plain English.
Drupal is built for sites with lots of structured content and several people editing it: universities, charities, membership bodies and public sector organisations. Its content types, taxonomies and permissions are powerful, but they also mean the site needs someone who understands how all the parts fit together.
Drupal 7 reached end of life in January 2025, and moving to Drupal 10 or 11 is a rebuild rather than a simple update. We map your content types and fields, build a new theme with Twig templates, migrate content with the Drupal Migrate API and test permissions with the people who actually edit the site.
It suits you if.
- Your site still runs on Drupal 7
- You have many editors with different permissions
- Your content has complex types, fields and taxonomies
- You need to meet public sector accessibility rules
What we do.
Drupal 7 migration
Content, users and files moved to Drupal 10 or 11 with the Migrate API, with a plan for modules that have no modern version.
Custom Twig themes
A theme built for your design, with components that match how your editors put pages together.
Content modelling
Content types, fields and taxonomies reviewed so editors find it easier to add and organise content.
Editorial workflows
Roles, permissions and content moderation states set up so drafts are approved before they are published.
Accessibility checks
Templates checked against WCAG 2.2 AA, which matters if you work with or for public sector bodies.

Questions people ask.
How much does a Drupal project cost?
Drupal projects vary a great deal with content volume and integrations. After reviewing your current site we give you a fixed price, split into stages if the project is large. You agree each figure before that stage begins.
Can Drupal 7 be updated in place?
Not really. Drupal 10 and 11 are built differently, so the theme and custom modules need rebuilding and the content needs migrating. The good news is that content, users and URLs can all be carried across.
What do you need from us?
Access to the codebase, database and hosting, plus a list of the people who edit the site and what they do. Time from one or two editors for testing near the end makes a big difference to how smoothly launch goes.
Who supports the site after launch?
We can handle core updates and security releases for a monthly fee agreed up front. Because the site is standard Drupal in a Git repository, your own team or another developer can take it on instead if you prefer.
