Custom CRM Development: where you are, the work, and where it gets you.

In plain English.

CRM stands for customer relationship management. In plain terms it is the record of who your customers are, what you have quoted them, and when someone needs to follow up. Ready-made tools such as HubSpot or Salesforce are good, but they charge per user and expect you to bend your process to fit their screens.

A custom CRM starts from your process instead. If you sell through site surveys, trade accounts or repeat service contracts, the stages, fields and reminders are built for that. It can create quotes from your price list, log calls and emails, and push won jobs into your accounts package.

There is no per-seat licence, so adding a new starter costs nothing extra. You own the data and the code, and we can import everything from the spreadsheets or the old CRM you are leaving behind, cleaning out duplicates on the way.

It suits you if.

  • Leads arrive by phone, web form and email, and some slip through
  • You pay monthly per user for a CRM your staff avoid
  • Your sales process has steps a standard CRM cannot model
  • Quotes are written in Word and tracked in someone's head
  • You want customer history kept in one place when someone leaves

What we do.

Pipeline your way

Stages, fields and required details that match your sales process, shown as a board or a list.

Automatic lead capture

Website forms, chatbot conversations and emails to a sales inbox create leads without anyone copying and pasting.

Quotes from your price list

Build a quote from your products and labour rates, send it as a PDF and see when it was opened.

Follow-up reminders

Tasks fall due automatically, and managers can see what is overdue across the whole team.

Links to your accounts

Won deals create a customer and invoice in Xero, QuickBooks or Sage, so nothing is typed twice.

    Map the pipeline

We sketch your stages, fields and automations on one page and agree it with the people who will use it.

  3. 03

    Prototype and build

You try the CRM with your own sample data before paying a deposit, then we build the full system.

  4. 04

    Import and go live

We clean and import your contacts, train the team and retire the old spreadsheet.

Questions people ask.

Is a custom CRM more expensive than HubSpot or Salesforce?

Up front, yes, because you pay for the build. After that there is no per-user licence, only hosting and any support you choose. For a growing team, or a business with an unusual process, that can work out cheaper over a few years. We give you a fixed quote so you can compare properly.

How long until we can use it?

A focused CRM with contacts, pipeline and reminders can be live in a matter of weeks. Quote building and the accounts link can follow in a second stage. Starting simple means your team is using it, and telling us what to change, much sooner.

Can you move our data from our current system?

Yes. We export from spreadsheets, Outlook contacts or CRMs such as HubSpot, Pipedrive, Zoho and Salesforce, clean out duplicates and import into the new system. You check a sample before the final import, and we keep the original export in case anything needs checking later.

What happens if we need changes later?

Changes are normal once people use the system daily. Small tweaks can be covered by a monthly support arrangement agreed up front, and bigger additions are quoted separately. Because you own the code, you are never tied to us for future work.
