Your systems connected so nobody retypes data

We link the software you already pay for, so orders, customers and stock move between them without copying and pasting.

API Integration: where you are, the work, and where it gets you.

In plain English.

An API is a doorway one piece of software provides so other software can read and write its data. Most of the tools a small business uses have one: Shopify, WooCommerce, Xero, HubSpot, Microsoft 365, Royal Mail Click and Drop, and plenty more. API integration is the work of joining those doorways up.

The usual goal is to stop people retyping. An order on your website creates an invoice in Xero, books a courier and updates stock in your warehouse system. A new enquiry lands in your CRM with the right tags. We write the connection, handle the errors real data throws up, and log every message so problems can be traced.

Where a tool like Zapier or Make does the job cheaply, we will say so and set it up for you. Where it does not, because of volume, complex logic or the cost per task, we write a small integration service and host it on monitored UK servers.

It suits you if.

  • Staff copy orders, customers or stock levels from one system to another
  • Retyping mistakes cause wrong deliveries or invoices
  • Your Zapier bill keeps rising, or a zap breaks without anyone noticing
  • You are adding a new system and need it to talk to the old ones
  • You want one report that pulls from several tools

What we do.

Careful field mapping

We agree field by field how data in one system matches the other, including VAT codes, SKUs and customer IDs.

Error handling and retries

When an API is down or rejects a record, the integration retries and alerts someone, so data is never lost quietly.

Full message log

Every record sent and received is logged, so you can see exactly what happened to any order.

Right tool for the job

Zapier or Make for light jobs, custom code in PHP or Node for heavier ones, and a frank recommendation either way.

Hosted and monitored

Custom integrations run on monitored UK servers with alerts if something stops working.

How it runs.

  1. 01

    Free call

Tell us which systems you use and where people spend time copying data between them.

  2. 02

    Check the APIs

We confirm each system has a usable API, what it allows and any limits or costs, before quoting.

  3. 03

    Build and test

We build the integration and run it against a test copy or sample data until the results match.

  4. 04

    Go live and watch

We switch it on, watch the first few days closely and fix any edge cases real data reveals.

Questions people ask.

How much does an API integration cost?

A straightforward one-way sync between two well-documented systems is a small job. Two-way syncs, older systems or high volumes take more work. We give you a fixed quote after checking the APIs involved. Some platforms charge for API access or need a higher subscription tier, and we flag that before you commit.

What if one of my systems does not have an API?

There are often other routes: scheduled CSV exports, an email-based import, a direct database connection or a supplier's FTP feed. These are less tidy than an API but work well when set up carefully. We tell you on the free call what is possible.

What happens when one of the systems changes its API?

Software companies do update their APIs, usually with notice. Our monitoring alerts us if calls start failing, and on a support arrangement we update the integration before the old version is switched off. Without one, we quote for the update when it is needed.

Should I use Zapier instead?

For low volumes and simple steps, Zapier or Make can be the cheapest answer, and we will set it up for you. Once you are running thousands of tasks a month, need complex logic or cannot afford silent failures, a custom integration is usually more dependable and cheaper to run.
