Webflow sites with SEO built into every template
We wire meta tags, schema and indexing rules into your Webflow CMS templates so every new page launches ready for search.
In plain English.
Webflow gives you more SEO control than most visual builders. It outputs clean HTML and lets you edit robots.txt, set canonical tags, write 301 redirects with wildcard patterns and add custom code per page. The catch is that all of this has to be set up deliberately. Beyond the basics, nothing is configured for you.
The biggest wins are usually in CMS collection templates. Meta titles, descriptions, Open Graph images and JSON-LD can all pull from collection fields, so every blog post, case study or location page gets proper SEO data automatically. Left unbound, every item shares the same generic title.
We also check Webflow-specific traps. The webflow.io staging subdomain can be indexed if its indexing setting is left on. Collection list pagination creates parameter URLs such as ?a1b2c3_page=2. Heavy interactions and Lottie animations can slow Largest Contentful Paint. For multi-language sites, Webflow Localization handles subfolders and hreflang, and we check it is configured correctly.
It suits you if.
- Your marketing site is built in Webflow
- CMS items all share the same meta title
- You see webflow.io URLs in Google results
- You have moved to Webflow from WordPress or another platform
- You plan to launch the site in more than one language
- Designers update the site and SEO keeps slipping
What we do.
Dynamic SEO fields
Meta titles, descriptions and Open Graph images bound to CMS fields, with fallbacks so no item launches blank.
CMS-driven JSON-LD
Article, FAQ, LocalBusiness or Product schema written in custom code with CMS fields inserted, so the markup updates with the content.
Redirects with wildcards
301 rules in hosting settings, using capture patterns to move whole folders in one rule during restructures or migrations.
Staging and indexing control
Webflow subdomain indexing switched off, sitemap settings checked and noindex applied to utility pages and test collections.
Performance tuning
Interactions, Lottie files, fonts and images reviewed against Core Web Vitals, with lighter alternatives where they hurt.
Localization setup
Locale subfolders, translated slugs and hreflang checked so each language version is indexed for the right audience.

Questions people ask.
How much does Webflow SEO cost?
You get a fixed figure up front. The number of CMS collections and whether the site is multilingual affect the effort most. Plan upgrades, for example to add Localization or more CMS items, are paid to Webflow by you.
Is Webflow good for SEO?
It is one of the stronger visual builders for SEO because of its clean code and control over settings. Its weak points are the CMS item limits on each plan and the need to set things up deliberately. Neither is a problem for most marketing sites.
Can you work alongside our designer?
Yes. This work sits in collection templates, site settings and custom code, alongside the design without changing how it looks. We agree with your designer what we will touch before we start.
How do we give you access?
Invite us to your Webflow workspace or site with an editor or designer role, and add us to Search Console. You keep ownership and billing throughout, and can remove us after handover.
