Google Workspace gives your team Gmail, Calendar, Drive and Meet on your own domain. Signing up takes minutes; setting it up well takes care. Domain verification, mail routing, DKIM signing and sign-in security are all separate steps in the Admin console, and skipping one usually shows up weeks later as mail in spam or an account taken over.
We verify the domain with a TXT record, then point MX at Google. New set-ups use a single MX record, smtp.google.com at priority 1, while older guides still list the five ASPMX records. We add include:_spf.google.com to SPF, generate a 2048-bit DKIM key under the google selector, switch on signing, and publish DMARC.
Then the people side. Users are created with sensible naming, info@ and sales@ set up as Google Groups or collaborative inboxes, shared drives created so files belong to the business, and 2-Step Verification enforced. Workspace licences are billed by Google to you directly, or passed on at cost.

What we do.
Domain and mail routing
Domain verified with a google-site-verification TXT record, MX pointed at Google, and test messages checked in both directions before go-live.
DKIM signing switched on
A 2048-bit DKIM key generated in the Admin console, published at google._domainkey on your domain, then authentication started so outgoing mail is signed.
Groups and shared inboxes
Shared addresses become Google Groups, so several people can receive and reply without sharing a password.
Shared drives owned by the business
Files live in shared drives rather than personal My Drive folders, so nothing is lost when someone leaves.
Sign-in security
2-Step Verification enforced, a second super admin for recovery, and basic mobile management so a lost phone can be signed out.

Move mail and switch
Existing mail is copied in, MX is changed to Google, DKIM and DMARC go live and a final sync catches late messages.

Questions people ask.
How much does Google Workspace cost?
Google charges a monthly licence per user, with the price depending on the plan you choose. That is paid to Google directly or passed on at cost. Our set-up work is a fixed price agreed after a free call, based on the number of users and how much data needs moving.
How long does the set-up take?
For a small team, preparation takes a few days and the switch itself happens in an evening or at a weekend. Mail moving takes longer when there are years of messages, so we copy most of it before the switch and catch up afterwards.
Will email go missing during the switch?
We plan it so it does not. The old mailboxes stay active until after MX changes, and we run a final sync to bring across anything that arrived at the old host while DNS was updating.
Who owns the Workspace account?
You do. The tenant is in your business name and you hold a super admin account. We use our own admin account so access can be removed at any time, and we never keep the only super admin login.
